Jim Gold

Jim Gold, Project Director at Lumentus, brings a combination of multimedia skills and global communications experience to his clients. At Lumentus, he works with firm partners to ensure that all moving parts of “Paid, Earned, Owned and Shared” client engagements are flawlessly executed.

Jim joined Lumentus in 2012 after working in the Middle East with the Doha Film Institute and the Doha Tribeca Film Festival. This followed earlier experience in the region as managing director for the Arab Broadcast Forum.

Prior to his time in the Middle East, Jim spent 15 years based in London. He served as managing director at News Xchange, an organization where he conceived the idea of delivering international broadcast media conferences in multiple European cities on behalf of the European Broadcasting Union. He headed all aspects of developing, funding, marketing, programming and managing these highly successful events.

Jim previously provided consulting services specializing in global communications strategy, media relations, and major event management. He also served as a vice president of European operations at Medialink, where he helped transition the corporate video services company from a New York start-up to an international firm.

Early in his career, Jim worked at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as an editorial coordinator and at ABC News as a production associate.

Jim graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in communications.
