Promoting Financial Literacy and Improving Student Outcomes

CHALLENGE:
The Marcus Foundation approached Lumentus to create a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting millennial financial literacy without political bias .

APPROACH:
Goal was to create a national online movement supplemented by an on-campus college outreach program led by student leaders .

Created GenFKD (Generation Financial Knowledge Development)

  • Created logo, messaging and website with full social outreach

  • Weekly show on Facebook averaging 20,000 live viewers
  • Grown to chapters on 30 campuses in 7 states + D.C.
  • Design and produce branded materials for all campus events
  • Created original college curricula now offered for credit
