SEO Analyst

The SEO Analyst is responsible for implementing SEO and social media strategies for clients. The SEO Analyst can quickly understand and support initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of client campaigns

  • Assist with business development research and proposal development
  • Conducting key word research and analysis.
  • Auditing and optimizing new and existing content for natural search engine index rankings
  • Developing and executing SEO optimization plans for existing and new web sites
  • Tracking and analyzing website traffic and owned digital content effectiveness to demonstrate ROI

 

Desired Skills And Experience

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in online marketing and SEO
  • Deep understanding of SEO editorial best practices, strategies, search term research, keyword targeting, and technical obstacles that hinder bot crawling and indexing
  • Experience developing effective keyword targeting strategy, prioritizing SEO initiatives, and executing against planned SEO tactics
  • Experience with SEO for blogs and marketing via social networks (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) and other pertinent online communities, required
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate in a cross-functional team
  • Strong working knowledge of how to optimize web sites for major search engines; including how HTML, Javascript, CSS and site architecture impact search rankings
  • Familiarity with Google, Bing and other webmaster tools, required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required, as well as exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in an fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • BA/BS required, BA/BS or graduate degree in relevant fields including Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, etc. preferred

 

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Experience with third-party enterprise SEO tools
  • Proficiency with implementation and utilization of Web Analytics solutions, including but not limited to Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Cloud Suite (Analytics, Test and Target, Data Workbench, Social)
  • Experience managing local and international SEO campaigns
  • Experience optimizing large web sites with content management publishing systems
