    Laurence Moskowitz is co-founder, managing partner and CEO of Lumentus.

    Larry is a communications pioneer who founded Lumentus in 2009 after recognizing technology and client service needs were changing how public relations, marketing and advertising firms must operate.

    Throughout his career, Larry has leveraged emerging technologies to provide business and professional communicators with more powerful and effective means of reaching their audiences. Prior to Lumentus, Larry founded Medialink, then the world's largest provider of video-based media communications services to Fortune 500 companies.

    As Chairman and CEO of Medialink, Larry forged strategic alliances with the Associated Press and Nielsen to create the first professional distribution network to link corporations and other organizations with television broadcasters nationwide. Medialink, which won hundreds of public relations industry awards, was successfully merged into a successor company in 2009. He had previously founded a forerunner to PR Newswire and started his career as a reporter and editor.

    Larry was honored with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for communications in 1999 and was named one of the 10 most influential public relations executives of the 20th Century by PR Week magazine.

    Larry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Pennsylvania State University, where he was Kappa Tau Alpha in communications. He has lectured on public relations and internet media at New York University, the BBC in London and Denmark Television in Copenhagen, NewsXchange in Barcelona and numerous professional groups around the world.

    Adam Selig is co-founder, managing partner and chief operating officer of Lumentus. He also leads the lumentus social division.

    Adam has extensive experience in helping companies to leverage social media, SEO/SEM and other digital media technologies to achieve measurable business and communications results.

    Prior to co-founding Lumentus, Adam was the CEO of Visible Technologies, an industry leader in social media monitoring, analytics, and engagement for marketing professionals working in enterprise businesses and agencies. Under Adam's leadership, Visible Technologies was awarded the Gartner Cool Technology award, was recognized by Forrester and CRM magazine as a leader in social media CRM integration, and was acknowledged by Inc. Magazine as the 170th fastest growing company in America.

    Prior to joining the Visible, Adam served as president and CEO of Broadstreet, a corporate and marketing communications firm which he helped build from a local firm into an international brand. He oversaw the sale of Broadstreet to the London based communication conglomerate, Incepta, plc (later merged with Huntsworth, plc).

    He has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Binghamton University and obtained an MBA from Columbia University and the London Business School through a joint international program. Adam is also Certified Public Accountant who formerly worked at Ernst & Young, LLP.

    Robert Beltran is a senior partner and one of Lumentus’ founding partners.

    Rob is a respected leader in advertising and integrated communications who built his reputation while working with an array of industry-leading companies and some of the world’s most recognized brands, including The Coca-Cola Company, Colgate-Palmolive, LG Appliances, UBS, GE Capital, CEMEX, FMC Technologies, Leviton, Entergy, DuPont, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Advil Cold & Sinus and the U.S. Postal Service. At Lumentus, Rob relies on his broad, cross-industry experience to provide strategic counsel and direction around all “Paid” engagements and integrated marketing assignments undertaken on behalf of clients.

    Prior to joining Lumentus, Rob served as chief operating officer and managing director of Burson-Marsteller's legendary Marsteller group (renamed Proof Integrated Communications in 2009) where he led the agency's Advertising, Design and Events/Production groups. Prior to joining Burson-Marsteller, Rob was a senior vice president at Citigate, a leading boutique marketing firm. He began his career with Young & Rubicam Advertising.

    Throughout his career, Rob has led the development of numerous award-winning advertising and marketing programs, including ones honored with Effie, Sabre and Mercury awards.

    He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and completed training in the "Dealing with an Angry Public" program through the MIT-Harvard Public Disputes Program in Cambridge, Mass.

    Maria Kalligeros has created and led strategic public relations programs for top marketers such as Target Stores, Godiva Chocolatier, Canon U.S.A., Duracell, Mercedes-Benz USA, Avon, Liz Claiborne and Girl Scouts of the USA. Under her leadership, her clients have won more than 65 industry awards, including a SABRE Lifetime Achievement Award with Liz Claiborne for the "Women's Work" domestic violence awareness campaign.

    She has developed cause-marketing programs for a variety of marketers and this work is cited as an exemplary example of the discipline in "Brand Spirit: How Cause-Related Marketing Builds Brands" (John Wiley & Sons, Ltd., 1999).

    Prior to establishing Kalligeros Communications, she was Executive Vice President and Consumer Practice Director at CRT-tanaka. She co-founded Patrice Tanaka & Company, Inc., served as President and over 15 years helped that firm grow into one of the nation's most well-respected consumer public relations agencies. Before that, Maria was with Chiat/Day Advertising’s public relations subsidiary.

    Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Hunter College. She sits on the Marketing Committee of the Food Bank of New York City. She has served as Secretary on the board of The Foundation of Women Executives in Public Relations (WEPR) and co-chaired the organization’s Crystal Obelisk Award for Social Responsibility and has served on the board of New York Women in Communications (NYWICI). She is a member of the PRSA and its Counselor’s Academy. She is a PRSA Silver Anvil, NY PRSA Big Apple and SABRE Award judge.

    Clinton Riley is a senior partner at Lumentus.

    Clinton is an experienced communicator and global media expert with a proven record of success in deploying effective solutions tailored to the audience and moment. At Lumentus, Clinton provides strategic counsel and direction around “Earned, Owned and Shared” activities and programs undertaken on behalf of clients.

    Prior to joining Lumentus, Clinton worked at HSBC where, as Vice President of Public Affairs/Media Relations, he managed media relations and external senior executive communications in the United States for the commercial banking unit of one of the world’s 40 largest companies. Before HSBC, he served as the corporate Director of Editorial Services at Merck & Co., Inc., a role that placed him at the critical intersection of external and internal communications for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.

    Before joining Merck, Clinton was a national-award winning business writer with such respected news organizations as The Wall Street Journal, The Virginian-Pilot and The (Bergen) Record.

    Clinton has collected dozens of individual and team honors, including the Scripps Howard Foundation’s National Journalism Award for Business/Economic Reporting and two national Investigative Reporters and Editors, Inc. awards.

    He holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Eastern Kentucky University and completed fellowships at The Poynter Institute for Media Studies and the Knight Journalism Fellows Program at The University of Mississippi where he also taught as a senior fellow. He holds a Sigma Green Belt and is a member of PRSA.

    Debbie Alvarado Sarlo is a Media Director at Lumentus.

    Debbie is a veteran media buyer with more than a decade of experience handling media management, planning and buying for global companies. At Lumentus, she is primarily responsible for “Paid” media planning and buying for clients across channels: television, radio, outdoor, print, and the Internet.

    Prior to joining Lumentus, she served as the Media Director at Proof Integrated Communications, formerly the Marsteller division of Burson Marsteller. In this role, Debbie was responsible for managing all clients' media buying and planning needs on all local, national and global accounts. Previously, Debbie also served as a project manager and as a production supervisor for live events with Marsteller Interactive, a firm where she managed client relations with a wide range of companies, including New Line Cinema, Schering-Plough Corporation, Direct TV, and Unilever.

    Debbie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

    Joy Abella is Director of Social Media and Online Communications at Lumentus.

    Joy is a social media maven whose career has allowed her to gain a valued and diverse set of communications skills. At Lumentus, she is responsible for managing “Paid, Earned, Owned and Shared” programs and campaigns for several clients, across disciplines and multiple industries.

    She came to Lumentus from Burson-Marsteller's full-service advertising and marketing communications group, Proof Integrated Communications (née Marsteller Advertising). During her career, Joy has managed projects for a diverse client base that includes Accenture, the World War II Memorial, U.S. Bureau of Engraving & Printing, Embraer, LG Digital Appliances, Merrill Lynch, McDonald’s, NEC, New York Board of Elections, Southern California Committee for the Olympic Games, Tenaris and Verizon Wireless.

    Joy started her career as an editor of women's fiction, overseeing titles from acquisition to completion and working closely with authors to develop contracted manuscripts.

    She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    Jim Gold is a project director at Lumentus.

    Jim’s special combination of multi-media skills, solid judgment and global communications experience position him as a must-have addition when a project needs to get done. At Lumentus, Jim works with firm partners to ensure that all the moving parts of “Paid, Earned, Owned and Shared” client engagements are properly executed. He came to New York-based Lumentus after working in the Middle East with the Doha Film Institute and the Doha Tribeca Film Festival. This followed an earlier stint in the region as managing director for the Arab Broadcast Forum.

    Prior to his time in the Middle East, Jim served as managing director at News Xchange, an organization where he conceived the idea of delivering international broadcast media conferences in several European cities on behalf of the European Union (EBU). He headed all aspects of developing, funding, marketing, programming and managing these highly successful, still-thriving events. For a time, Jim operated Gold Media Services, an independent consultancy service specializing in global communications strategy, media relations and major event management. Before branching out on his own, Jim was a vice president at Medialink where he helped transition the corporate video services company from a New York start-up to an international firm taken public. Early on, Jim also worked at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as an editorial coordinator and at ABC News as a production associate.

    He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in communications.

  • Jason Cartwright

    Jason Cartwright is the technical lead at Lumentus with primary responsibility for development of lumentus social, the firm’s proprietary social media platform.

    At heart, Jason is an entrepreneur with a passion for product development built on by his deep experience in computer programming, database management, marketing and business.

    Jason began his career when he was hired to compose music for a small software company in Texas, but he soon transitioned from writing music to writing software, opening the door to a career in software development. Over the course of his career, Jason has served as the technical lead on projects for large corporations such as Mary Kay, CellStar, and Fidelity Life Association. He has also helped to bootstrap several startup businesses from concept to launch, and into early growth stages.

    Jason has worked with a diverse set of tools and technologies. Initially working in enterprise software development, he mastered Microsoft’s languages, tools and services. Jason was a Microsoft Certified Professional and was a senior-level developer in C# and ASP.NET. Jason now leverages open-source tools and frameworks, such as Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL and jQuery. He has become an expert at architecting complex information systems, while maintaining a disciplined focus on usability and simplicity. He skillfully applies Agile and Lean methodologies to rapidly develop and validate new ideas into functional software that delivers value to end-users.

    He attended the University of North Texas where he studied Radio, Television and Film.
